The Associated Students of WWU considered implementing a voter-funded media contest in 2007-2008, but has shelved the idea, for reasons they explain here. They helpfully sent us the bylaw code they drafted while planning their implementation.
I plan to encourage them to revisit the idea this fall, after we learn from other implementations how to address the concerns raised at WWU. Developments will be posted here.
